Dual-Balanced Linear Motor

ISC Intelligent Step-Difference Control

Linear Motor Drive
CHMER's Die Sinker EDM applies linear motor drive to the X, Y, and Z-axis, replacing the conventional ball-screw and servo motor combination. Traverse speed reaches 18–21 m/min versus 2–5 m/min on ball-screw systems, with zero positioning lag. Also in comparative testing, the linear motor drive reduces processing time by 35% and corner consumption by 25% against the AC servo motor.
Patented Air Balance Spindle with Internal Gas Recovery
The Z-axis linear motor drive combines with an air balance cylinder. The air source is recovered through a patented internal circulation system, maintaining consistent chip removal performance in deep groove and rib applications.
E Code — Proprietary 3-Axis Programming

Dual Detection: BTD + BOD
Breakthrough Detection (BTD) halts the electrode at a preset depth. Breakout Detection (BOD) stops the electrode the moment it breaks through the material, preventing over-drilling and back-wall strikes inside internal cavities or passageways. Operate simultaneously, making it suitable for blind hole, through hole, and internal channel applications without manual monitoring.
Inverter-Controlled Spindle and High-Pressure Water
Flush pressure automatically increases as hole depth increases, maintaining consistent chip evacuation regardless of depth. Spindle inverter control also reduces electrode wear and suppresses back strikes after breakthrough.
